@marek currently I'm running very few (5-10 or so) so having everything on zfs snapshots and etckeeper has been sufficient so far

Still, etckeeper is new to me and looks interesting, thanks :)
I think my setup is not much different after all: a bunch of folders with docker compose and backups with restic. I have some vague idea that a ZFS snapshot would be better for a live database, but that's still an aspect I need to look into
...
@marek just wanted to check which tool I actually use to automate ZFS snapshots (currently via Cron) but there are so many tools out there I think any of them do the job
