It is important to be thankful. This is not an image in and en upon itself.
This photograph was composed from a sample a food that was given to me, because I'm in dire need of assistance, to get projects within my IT Technology fields of expertise.

Due to the horrific situation in my country, the enormous amount of inflation, combined with very questionable political figures ruining the whole economic system and landscape for decades, Many businesses have collapsed, including those that I've given Open Source service and support to for decades.

So when one of those businesses, which luckily does not reside in my country but is remote, has a top level manager who is also friend, decides to jump in and help no questions asked, it is only fair to be thankful.

That energy of gratitude shall be reflected through the Universe to that Friend and everyone else who reads this toot.

@stefano was the one who started a thankful toot thread some days / weeks ago.
In light of that here's my Toot of Thanks for the Week

🦋💙❤️💋 💙💕🌹💐💙🦋

The photograph composed in 81A warm light, shows a box of Golden Bridge Choco-Caramel Crisps cereal. The box is predominantly red with a yellow splash indicating "41% Whole Wheat." The brand name "Golden Bridge" is prominently displayed in white text on a yellow background. The product name "Choco-Caramel Crisps" is written in large white and yellow letters. Below the product name, there is a bowl of cereal with milk, showcasing the star-shaped pieces in brown and yellow colors. The text "CRUNCHY, CARAMELLY, CHOCOLATEY, HAPPY" is written around the bowl. The Nutri-Score is shown as "C," indicating a relatively healthy option. The Fairtrade logo is visible in the top right corner. The box is placed on a textured gray fabric surface.

Questions for folk who run and on multiple accounts:

Do you use a single Prometheus server or do you have one for each account?

How do you handle auto scaling EC2 servers which could change IPs at any time?

Is it possible for servers to push rather than get pulled from?

Please share any setups that could be relevant and boost far & wide!

    Thanks in advance!! ❤️❤️❤️

Oh, my goodness. I boosted @Em0nM4stodon’s post about this earlier. But I need to share it with some intention.

This piece she wrote on Mastodon privacy/security is intense. It’s long. SO much information. Read it anyway. Seriously.

And if y’all don’t follow Em, do yourself a solid and get on that. She’s smart af about InfoSec/privacy/security. And super friendly.

Evening Reflection: In just a few days, it will be BSD Cafe's second birthday. Two years ago, I never anticipated what would follow. What was once a dream - this kind of community - has transformed into a reality. I set the table, but the Cafe isn't just me; it's all of you.
It's the Fediverse, it's Matrix, it's a group of people who want to communicate, who want positivity, who want to grow, who have a passion and an interest. This morning, I announced the Journal, and the enthusiasm shown was comparable. And that, for me, was a gift.

Even though it's not yet Tuesday here, it already is in many places. While I might sound repetitive, I feel compelled to dedicate this to you all: friends of BSD Cafe (both in and outside the cafe), of the Fediverse, of Matrix, of every communication channel.
Because FREE communication channels are tools, and they are merely extensions of people.

Wonderful people, who make the world a little less bleak.

                Thank you.

Dear friends of and the entire , tomorrow I'll be announcing a new idea/service from BSD Cafe. In my opinion, it's something that can be extremely useful to the entire BSD and Open Source community in general - even to pique curiosity and attract new users.

I'm still finalizing a few details, mainly in the guidelines, which I'll lay out in the presentation post.

As with all services, I'll need your collaboration and help (I'm just the Barista, but the Cafe is interesting thanks to all of you!), this time more than ever.

                  Stay tuned!

If you can and want to, you can create your own instance, and thanks to lightweight (and interoperable) software, you can do it with spare hardware or very affordable VPS.

I hope you'll find this useful in spreading the word about the Fediverse with your Italian friends and family.
