Spent the afternoon modeling this Raspberry Pi 5 + NVMe Board + 40mm fan case.
The Pi will slide in from one side and then be fixed with a lid with big holes for airflow.

Not done yet but I want to get finished and print over night. It is designed to be printed with the fan side down.

    This worked great and turned out so beautiful in PETG! Totally sturdy, looks industrial, will definitely use this kind of design again. 🥳

    Printed without needing supports and with M2 threaded inserts because I love to use them.

      #FreeCAD seems to be the most capable #FOSS #CAD package out there. #OpenSCAD looks nice, but it's more like a programming language.

      #TinkerCAD is easy, but it's not FOSS, and they have a stinking #BindingArbitration clause now. 🤦‍♂️

      #Blender is extremely capable, but not really meant for solid modeling, from what I can tell.
